terms and conditions
effective date: 23 july 2026
last updated: 23 july 2026
These terms and conditions apply when you browse or purchase products from meganizod.com. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer law.
1. about us
This website and shop are operated by:
Megan Izod
Website: meganizod.com
Email: home@meganizod.com
2. products
We sell art prints featuring original artwork by Megan Izod.
Product descriptions, available sizes, materials and prices are shown on the relevant product page. Please check the product details carefully before ordering.
We make reasonable efforts to display colours accurately. However, colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen settings, and minor differences may occur during the printing process.
Frames, mounts and other accessories are not included unless expressly stated in the product description.
3. made-to-order printing
Prints are produced to order by our print and fulfilment partner, Papello.
Because production may begin shortly after an order is placed, please contact us immediately at home@meganizod.com if you notice an error or wish to request a change.
We cannot guarantee that an order can be amended or cancelled once production has begun. This does not affect any cancellation or consumer rights that apply by law.
Being printed to order does not, by itself, remove a UK customer’s statutory cancellation rights. The UK cancellation exception generally concerns goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised, rather than ordinary stock designs that are simply printed after an order is received.
4. placing an order
To place an order, you must provide complete and accurate information, including your name, email address, billing information and delivery address.
After placing an order, you should receive an automated confirmation email. This confirms that we have received your order but does not necessarily mean that it has been accepted.
A contract is formed when we accept the order and begin processing it for fulfilment.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where:
- a product is unavailable;
- payment cannot be authorised;
- the price or product information contains an obvious error;
- we cannot deliver to the address provided;
- we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse of the website.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, the amount paid will be refunded.
5. prices and payment
Prices are displayed in pounds sterling unless stated otherwise.
The total payable, including any applicable delivery charge, will be shown before you complete checkout.
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered at checkout. Payment processing is handled by a third-party payment provider, and we do not normally receive or store your complete card details.
Customers are responsible for any currency-conversion charges applied by their bank or payment provider.
6. delivery locations
We currently accept orders for delivery to:
- the United Kingdom;
- Australia.
Orders cannot be completed where no delivery method is available for the customer’s address.
We may change the countries to which we deliver at any time.
7. delivery charges and estimates
Available delivery services, charges and estimated delivery times are displayed during checkout.
Delivery estimates are not guaranteed delivery dates. Production, postal services, customs procedures, severe weather and other circumstances outside our reasonable control may cause delays.
We will provide the products within the agreed period or, where no period has been agreed, within the period required by applicable law.
8. Australian orders, customs and import charges
Australian orders are fulfilled and dispatched from outside Australia unless stated otherwise.
The customer is responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, handling charges or other charges imposed by Australian authorities or delivery providers, unless those amounts were included and clearly identified at checkout.
Customs processing may delay delivery.
9. delivery addresses
You are responsible for checking that your delivery address is complete and correct before submitting your order.
Contact us immediately if you notice an error. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after fulfilment has begun.
We are not responsible for failed delivery caused by an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the customer. Additional printing or delivery costs may apply if an order must be produced or sent again.
This does not apply where the delivery problem was caused by us, our fulfilment partner or the carrier.
10. risk and ownership
Responsibility for the product passes to you when it is delivered to you or to a person you have identified to receive it.
Ownership passes to you once full payment has been received and the product has been delivered.
11. UK cancellation rights
UK customers purchasing online generally have the right to cancel an order without giving a reason.
You must tell us that you wish to cancel within 14 days beginning the day after the goods are delivered. After notifying us, you normally have a further 14 days to return the goods.
To request a cancellation, email home@meganizod.com and include:
- your name;
- your order number;
- the product concerned;
- a clear statement that you wish to cancel.
Unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning it.
Returned products should be handled with reasonable care and securely packaged. We may make a lawful deduction from the refund where the product’s value has been reduced by handling beyond what would reasonably be permitted when examining it in a shop.
We may wait until we receive the returned product, or evidence that it has been sent back, before issuing the refund.
Where the right to cancel applies, we will refund the product price and the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered for the original order. Any additional amount paid for an upgraded delivery service is not necessarily refundable.
12. Australian change-of-mind returns
Australian consumer law does not generally require a business to provide a refund merely because a customer has changed their mind.
Any voluntary change-of-mind return offered to Australian customers will be governed by our refunds and returns policy.
This does not restrict any remedy available under the Australian Consumer Law where a product is faulty, damaged, materially different from its description or otherwise fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee.
13. damaged, faulty or incorrect orders
Please inspect your order after delivery.
Contact home@meganizod.com promptly if your order:
- arrives damaged;
- contains the wrong product;
- has a material printing fault;
- is materially different from its description;
- does not arrive.
Please provide your order number, a description of the issue and clear photographs of the product and packaging where relevant. This information helps us investigate the matter with our fulfilment or delivery partner.
Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, we may offer a replacement, refund or other appropriate remedy.
Any request that customers contact us promptly helps us investigate the problem, but it does not remove statutory rights or impose an unlawful fixed deadline for claims involving faulty goods. Australian businesses cannot use store terms to exclude consumer remedies for faulty products.
14. lost or delayed orders
An order is not necessarily considered lost merely because it arrives after the estimated delivery date.
Contact us if tracking has not updated for an unusual period or the order has not arrived within a reasonable time. We may need to investigate with the carrier before providing a replacement or refund.
Where the carrier confirms that a parcel has been lost, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law.
15. returns procedure
Do not send a return without contacting us first.
Email home@meganizod.com for return instructions. The return address may differ from the address shown on the original parcel.
Unless we confirm otherwise, customers should obtain proof of postage and use suitable protective packaging.
Further details are provided in our separate refunds and returns policy. If that policy conflicts with mandatory consumer law, the law takes priority.
16. intellectual property
All artwork, illustrations, photographs, branding, text and other original content displayed on this website are owned by Megan Izod or used with permission.
Purchasing a print gives you ownership of that physical copy only. It does not transfer copyright or grant permission to:
- reproduce or copy the artwork;
- scan or digitise it;
- sell reproductions;
- use it commercially;
- modify and distribute it;
- use it to train artificial-intelligence systems or machine-learning models.
No content may be reproduced or commercially used without prior written permission.
17. acceptable use of the website
You must not:
- use the website unlawfully;
- interfere with its security or operation;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access;
- introduce malicious code;
- copy or exploit website content without permission;
- place fraudulent orders;
- use automated systems to scrape or extract content without permission.
We may restrict access or cancel orders where the website is being misused.
18. website availability
We aim to keep the website accurate and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
We may temporarily suspend, withdraw or change parts of the website for maintenance, security or operational reasons.
We are not responsible for third-party websites linked from this site.
19. liability
We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- breach of mandatory consumer rights;
- any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Subject to those protections, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or for business losses arising from a consumer purchase.
20. events outside our control
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including postal disruption, customs delays, natural disasters, industrial action, transport disruption, failures of third-party systems or government action.
Where such an event materially affects an order, we will take reasonable steps to contact you and minimise the effect. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
21. privacy and cookies
We process personal information in accordance with our privacy policy.
Information about cookies and consent preferences is provided in our cookie policy.
22. changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the shop, fulfilment arrangements or legal requirements.
The terms in force when you place your order will normally apply to that order. The latest version will be published on this page with its effective date.
23. severability
If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
24. governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Consumers living elsewhere retain any mandatory protections available to them under the laws that apply to their purchase.
The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, but this does not prevent a consumer from exercising any right to bring proceedings in another court where applicable consumer law permits it.
25. contact
